Basata is ideally located so that guests can take day trips or overnight expeditions to the many interesting nearby areas.  The cities closest to Basata are Nuweiba to the south and Taba to the north; both are about a thirty-minute drive away. The new entertainment compound, Taba Heights is even closer and is the perfect place to enjoy a nice, cold beverage in one of the many beautiful air-conditioned bars or restaurants.
